If you
want to visit Colombia, the best place is the Department of Cesar. It has so
many touristic places some of them are Guatapurí river, Nabusimake,
Monuments and Parks, Manaure, Pueblo
Bello, La Mina an a lot more. Guatapurí River is cold and fun flowing, there
you can take a swim, get a tan, feed the fish that are around and you can
throw a tire down the river by the current. Also you can play with the sand
that is all around the river. This is a very good place to visit because you
can entertain for a while.
After
Guatapurí River you can visit Pueblo Bello located in La Sierra Nevada De
Santa Marta. Pueblo Bello is a beautiful town where you can visit Nabusimake, an indigenous tribe that still exists. There you can have a very good
experience with the traditions and cultures of Arauca Tribe. You can visit the
houses where the indigenous live, also get to know some traditions like how they
buried someone important or someone of the community. You can also go to La
Sierra Nevada De Santa Marta by walking or by horse. You can go to Manaure that is
also a nice place. This town is very near to Valledupar there are some
beautiful churches like Patillal. You can see some statues like Mi Pedazo De
Acordéon, Maria Mulata and a lot more. These statues represent the ancestors
and also commemorate Cesar´s music, the most common is Vallenato. I hope you go
to the beautiful Cesar´s Department.
