BOYACA A MAGIC DEPARTMENT
Boyacá, a magic place to visit in a perfect vacation. It is one of the
32 departments of Colombia and has one of the most historic touristic places of
Colombia called Boyacá Bridge. This incredible bridge was a combat zone in where
Simon Bolivar, our LIBERTADOR, started fighting with Spaniards for Colombia’s
independence. That’s why Boyacá is called LAND OF FREEDOM. This department was
the scene of a series of battles that led Colombia’s independence. Boyacá also
has many other beautiful touristic places like Tota’s lake that is the biggest
one in Colombia. Sochagota lake is also beautiful.
If you like snows, Boyacá has LA SIERRA NEVADA DEL COCUY that has peaks with
perpetuan snow. So I invite you to come to Boyacá to have a perfect vacation.
