Last June 11th and 12th we had the wonderful experience of visiting some municipalities of our department. We went on a marvelous tour that started in Yotoco at a Natural Park. Then we went to Buga where we took lunch and bought some goods. (Most of the kids bought sun glasses). At 12:30 we went to La Paila corregimiento of Zarzal in order to see the process of making candies at Colombina's factory. In the afternoon we left to Alcalá where we spent the night. We stayed at the hotel El Bosque del Samán, a gorgeous coffee farm with animals, flowers and fresh weather.
On our second day we visited Caicedonia, Sevilla and Andalucia. We enjoyed the beautiful landscapes, took pictures, went shopping and got ready to come back to Cali. At 8:00 pm we arrived to school tired of our long journey but extremely happy of this great trip. We came full of souvenirs, anecdotes, and experiences that will remain in everybody's hearts and minds forever!!!
Here some pictures of our tour! Don't doubt to go and visit some of these nice places on vacation, if you have the chance.
Is it anything to say? Don't delay, post your comment now!!!
Fourth grade students closed their English class writing a persuasive text about a tourist spot of Colombia. Here I proudly share what they wrote as their final papers after a long process of research and corrections. I hope you like this blog. Everyone is invited to post their comments.
