Our wonderful tour......

Last June 11th and 12th we had the wonderful experience of visiting some municipalities of our department. We went on a marvelous tour that started in Yotoco at a Natural Park. Then we went to Buga where we took lunch and bought some goods. (Most of the kids bought sun glasses). At 12:30 we went to La Paila corregimiento of Zarzal in order to see the process of making candies at Colombina's factory. In the afternoon we left to Alcalá where we spent the night. We stayed at the hotel El Bosque del Samán, a gorgeous coffee farm with animals, flowers and fresh weather.
On our second day we visited Caicedonia, Sevilla and Andalucia. We enjoyed the beautiful landscapes, took pictures, went shopping and got ready to come back to Cali. At 8:00 pm we arrived to school tired of our long journey but extremely happy of this great trip. We came full of souvenirs, anecdotes, and experiences that will remain in everybody's hearts and minds forever!!!
Here some pictures of our tour! Don't doubt to go and visit some of these nice places on vacation, if you have the chance.

Is it anything to say? Don't delay, post your comment now!!!

Y entrando al sur
por Jamundí Valle del Lilí
dominando el plan
ay mi Cali

Esta es mi tierra bonita
que embriaga mis sueños
con tantos parajes
y al desprevenido horizonte
en cualquier momento lo vuelve paisaje

Esta es mi tierra bonita
jardín que brotó de la naturaleza
riendo entre dos cordilleras
que celosas protegen mi tierra preciosa

Y quedó oliendo a café
quedó sabiendo a guarapo
con rico sabor de caña
el Cauca dejó la montaña
(BIS)

Dando vida a mi tierra bonita
Dando nombre a mi tierra preciosa

Coro
Mi Valle del Cauca
Mi Valle eh!

Que te abre el corazón
Que hoy se convierte en canción
Olvidando tu dolor
Va plasmando su verdor
Junto con los rayos del sol
llamando a todos la atención
Motiva mi inspiración
Esa mujer canela que das
Tal si fuera Santa Ana
Mi mujer vallecaucana

Y quedó oliendo a café
quedó sabiendo a guarapo
con rico sabor de caña
el Cauca dejó la montaña.

Dear students,
Are you ready to sing it? Go ahead!!!
I suggest you to invite a relative or friend to join you. Then you can challenge him/her by asking to identify places which are not municipalities of our department. If he doesn't know you can teach him.
If you do it, please publish the results of your exercise. Have fun!
